So hello, I finished this animated poster last week!
I’ve been trying to make stuff with no goal lately. I get paid to make things. (And I am thankful everyday for that.) But when your passion is your job, it’s really hard to just do it for fun again.
I’ve had a sketch for this poster rattling around in my files and brain for awhile. I usually know an idea is ready to be created when I can’t forget about it for days. I was sick when this itch was begging to be scratched. But for my sanity and recovery, I had to resolve to have no plan for it at all. Because strategizing the final result and impact just felt way too much like work. And to be honest, work you love doing can still be stressful.
